Entry requirements
BBC-BCC at A Level including a grade C in Chemistry. The endorsement for practical work is an essential part of Science A Level study, and is a requirement for entry to our degree course. As an alternative to the grade C in Chemistry, BTEC Level 3 National Extended Certificate, BTEC Level 3 National Extended Certificate (AAQ), or OCR Level 3 Cambridge Technical Extended Certificate in Applied Science will be accepted at Distinction grade. DMM in BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Applied Science. 112-104 UCAS tariff points from a combination of Level 3 qualifications including a grade C in Chemistry at A Level. About this course
BSc (Hons) in Chemistry. Core topics include Microelectronics, Statistics, Laboratory Techniques, Research Methods, and Ethics & Professional Practice. The course is accredited by the Royal Society of Chemistry. An optional supervised placement year is available, and the programme includes an independent research project in the final year.
