Entry requirements
BBC-BCC at A Level with a minimum grade C in Chemistry. The endorsement for practical work is an essential part of Science A Level study, and is a requirement for entry to our degree course. As an alternative to the grade C in Chemistry, BTEC Level 3 National Extended Certificate, BTEC Level 3 National Extended Certificate (AAQ), or OCR Level 3 Cambridge Technical Extended Certificate in Applied Science will be accepted at Distinction grade. DMM in BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Applied Science. 112-104 UCAS tariff points from a combination of Level 3 qualifications including a minimum grade C in Chemistry at A Level. About this course
BSc (Hons) in Chemistry and Archaeology. Core topics include Laboratory Techniques, Research Methods, Statistics, and Ethics & Professional Practice. The programme is accredited by the Royal Society of Chemistry. Students may undertake an optional supervised placement year in industry or research, extending the degree to four years.
