Entry requirements

BBC-BCC at A Level including a minimum grade C in Chemistry. The endorsement for practical work is an essential part of Science A Level study, and is a requirement for entry to our degree course. As an alternative to the grade C in Chemistry, BTEC Level 3 National Extended Certificate, BTEC Level 3 National Extended Certificate (AAQ), or OCR Level 3 Cambridge Technical Extended Certificate in Applied Science will be accepted at Distinction grade. DMM in BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Applied Science or Forensic and Criminal Investigation. 112-104 UCAS tariff points from a combination of Level 3 qualifications including a minimum grade C in Chemistry at A Level. About this course

BSc (Hons) in Chemistry and Archaeology. Core topics include Statistics, Research Methods, and Ethics & Professional Practice. The programme is accredited by the Chartered Society of Forensic Sciences and provides access to purpose-built forensic laboratories and simulated crime scene facilities. An optional 48-week supervised work placement in industry follows the second year of study.
