About this course
BSc (Hons) in Nursing (Child), focusing on providing care for children, young people, and their families. Core topics include research methods. The course uses a blended learning approach with a maximum of 20 campus days per year at Huddersfield, combining digital learning with practical experience. Students complete six practice learning experiences throughout the course, developing skills in areas such as cannulation, phlebotomy, and intravenous medicine administration. On completion, graduates can register with the NMC and work as a Registered Nurse for Children.
