Entry requirements
BBC-BCC at A Level including a minimum grade C in Chemistry. The endorsement for practical work is an essential part of Science A Level study, and is a requirement for entry to our degree course. As an alternative to the grade C in Chemistry, BTEC Level 3 National Extended Certificate, BTEC Level 3 National Extended Certificate (AAQ), or OCR Level 3 Cambridge Technical Extended Certificate in Applied Science will be accepted at Distinction grade. DMM in BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Applied Science. 112-104 UCAS tariff points from a combination of Level 3 qualifications including a minimum grade C in Chemistry at A Level. About this course
BSc (Hons) in Pharmaceutical Chemistry, combining organic, analytical, and physical chemistry with biochemistry and pharmacology. Core topics include Statistics, Laboratory Techniques, and Research Methods. An optional supervised work placement in the UK or abroad is available after the second year. The final year includes an independent research project.
