About this course

BEng (Hons) in Biomedical Engineering, covering medical device development, prosthetics, and physiological measurement. Core topics include Programming, Signal Processing, Mathematical Modelling, Research Methods, Engineering Design, and Clinical Skills. The first year is common across engineering programmes, providing the option to transfer to a different pathway before year two. Students may add a placement year or progress to an integrated MEng, with the choice available at any stage of the degree.
