Applicants should have A level Biology/Applied Science at Grade C or above (or merit from relevant BTEC). Applicants taking the reformed A-level must also Pass the practical element. Alternative qualifications IB Diploma: 28 points including 5 in HL Biology. Pass Access to HE Diploma overall with a minimum of 96-112 UCAS tariff points including a minimum of 18 credits at Merit in Biology.

About this course

BSc (Hons) in Neuroscience. Core topics include Data Analysis, Statistics, Research Methods, and Communication & Writing. The programme is accredited by the Institute of Biomedical Science and includes an Independent Research Project in the final year. On completion, graduates can apply to become a Trainee Biomedical Scientist and complete the HCPC portfolio required to register as a Biomedical Scientist.
