Entry requirements
When it comes to applying to university, you'll need a certain number of UCAS points. Different qualifications and grades are worth a different amount of points. For this course, you will typically need 112 UCAS points , but we review every application on its own merits. At least 80 points must come from A levels, BTEC, or other equivalent qualifications . We consider experience and qualifications from the UK and worldwide which may not exactly match the combinations above. It's not just about the grades - we'll look at your whole application. About this course
BSc (Hons) in Earth and Environmental Sciences. Core topics include laboratory techniques, fieldwork, data analysis, research methods, programming, and statistics. The programme features overseas field trips with costs included in tuition fees, and a final-year dissertation involving original research. A placement year is available for professional experience.
