Applicants should have an A level in Maths at Grade C or above. Alternative qualifications IB Diploma: 28 points including 5 in HL Maths. Pass Access to HE Diploma overall with a minimum of 96-112 UCAS tariff points including a minimum of 18 credits at Merit in Maths.
About this course
BSc (Hons) in Mathematics, covering pure and applied mathematical methods. Core topics include programming, data analysis, statistics, mathematical modelling, research methods, and artificial intelligence & machine learning. The programme is accredited by the Institute of Mathematics and its Applications, placing it on the pathway towards Chartered Mathematician status. A foundation year is available, and the final year includes a supervised research project on a mathematical topic of choice.
