About this course
BA (Hons) in Film Studies. Core topics include Data Analysis, Research Methods, Project Management, Communication & Writing, Ethics & Professional Practice, and Design & Creative Practice. A two-part screen production project requires planning, filming, and post-production of a short film. An extended skills module offers specialisation in scenography, stage management, or play and scriptwriting, and the university's partnership with Screen Yorkshire provides work experience opportunities.
