Applicants should also have GCSE English and Maths at Grade 4 or C or above and must have reached the age of 18 by the start of the programme. Shortlisted applicants will be invited to an interview. As part of any conditional offer a satisfactory Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check is required (which is continued with an annual declaration of Good Health and Good Character) along with appropriate references and Occupational Health Clearance. Alternative qualifications IB Diploma: 28 points. Pass Access to HE Diploma overall with a minimum of 96-112 UCAS tariff points. Advanced apprenticeship in Health and Social Care plus an A level at grade C (or 32 Tariff points) or above, plus GCSE English and Maths at grade C or equivalent alternatives. NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care, plus completion of the University Study Skills module at level 4 (20 Credits). Alternative maths – Functional Skills L2 Maths. University of Hull Certificate in Practice Skills for Health and Social Care (60 credits at Level 4 in appropriate subjects).
About this course
BSc (Hons) in Paramedic Science. Core topics include Research Methods, Clinical Skills, Critical & Analytical Thinking, and Ethics & Professional Practice. The programme was developed in collaboration with local NHS trusts and private healthcare providers. Students on this course may receive a non-repayable annual payment of at least £5,000.
