Our contextual offer is 96 points. But there’s no ceiling on ambition. At least 80 points must come from A levels, BTEC, or other equivalent qualifications . Applicants should have A Level Maths and Physics at Grade C or above. Applicants taking the reformed A-level must also Pass the practical element. Alternative qualifications IB Diploma: 28 points including 5 in Higher Level Maths and Physics. Pass Access to HE Diploma overall with a minimum of 96-112 UCAS tariff points including a minimum of 18 credits at Merit in Maths and 18 credits at Merit in Physics.
About this course
BSc (Hons) in Physics, providing a thorough grounding in the fundamentals of the discipline. Core topics include Programming, Microelectronics, Data Analysis, Statistics, Mathematical Modelling, and Research Methods. The course includes weekly tutorials in the first two years and culminates in a research project.
