About this course
BSc in Biomedical Technology Ventures, a biomedical engineering degree centred on the intersection of medical technology, business creation, and engineering design. Core topics include Programming, Control Systems, Data Analysis, Statistics, Project Management, Engineering Design, Ethics & Professional Practice, and Entrepreneurship. The curriculum incorporates a commercial summer internship at a startup during the second year, alongside a major final-year group project focused on device design. The first year covers foundational principles through compulsory modules such as Computer Fundamentals and Programming 1, Design and Professional Practice 1, Entrepreneurship Online, and Sensors and Actuation.
