About this course
BSc in Mathematics with Mathematical Computation, a mathematics degree centred on mathematical and computational approaches to physical theory. Core topics include Programming, Data Analysis, Statistics, Mathematical Modelling, Research Methods, and Communication & Writing. The first year establishes foundations through Introduction to University Mathematics, Analysis 1, Linear Algebra and Groups, and Introduction to Computation. The second year progresses with Analysis 2, Linear Algebra and Numerical Analysis, Multi-variable Calculus and Differential Equations, and Principles of Programming. Optional modules include Lebesgue Measure and Integration, Partial Differential Equations in Action, Statistical Modelling 1, and Classical Mechanics.
