About this course

MBBS/BSc in Medicine, a medicine degree centred on clinical practice, health and disease. Core topics include Clinical Skills. Successful students graduate with both an MBBS and BSc qualification through this integrated curriculum. The first year covers the foundations through Principles of Medicine, Bioregulatory Systems Year 1, Clinical and Scientific Integration Year 1, and Patients, Communities and Healthcare Year 1. Subsequent years progress through modules such as Bioregulatory Systems Year 2, Clinical Research and Innovation, Patients, Communities and Healthcare Year 3, and Pathology. Later stages incorporate advanced training via Patients, Communities and Healthcare Year 5, Patients, Communities and Healthcare Year 6, and Preparedness for Practice. Students also undertake an I-Explore module offering choices from subjects hosted outside of the department.
