About this course
BSc in Biomedical Science, a biomedical science degree centred on the biosciences that underpin human health and the diagnosis and treatment of disease. The curriculum begins with a shared first year covering all biomedical science disciplines, allowing students to select their degree path afterwards from options including Anatomy, Developmental & Human Biology BSc, Biochemistry BSc, Biomedical Science BSc, Medical Physiology BSc, Molecular Genetics BSc, Neuroscience BSc, and Pharmacology BSc. The programme also offers the option of taking an additional year abroad or an extra-mural work placement year.
