About this course
BA in Comparative Literature with Film Studies, a modern languages and film studies degree examining global texts and cinema. All modules are taught in English translation, while offering support for linguistic development and access to central London screening facilities. The curriculum draws on research expertise across multiple continents and spans over two millennia of literary history. Each academic year incorporates two Film Studies modules covering film theory and cinema in relation to society. The syllabus includes options spanning popular Hollywood, European, Latin American and Asian film, alongside documentary and underground cinema.
