About this course
BSc in Pharmacology, a pharmacology degree focused on the biological action of drugs and chemicals at molecular, cellular and systemic levels for treating disease. The course includes options to study abroad or extend to a four-year MSci, and shares a common first year with other biomedical science degrees. During the first year, students study a broad range of subjects before pharmacology becomes the main focus from the second year onwards. Students who complete the common first year have the option to transfer to Anatomy, Developmental & Human Biology BSc, Biochemistry BSc, Biomedical Science BSc, Medical Physiology BSc, Molecular Genetics BSc or Neuroscience BSc.
