A level: BBC in three A levels including C in Chemistry IB: 554 in three Higher Levels including 4 in Chemistry, or 29 points including 4 in Higher Level Chemistry
About this course
BSc (Hons) Chemistry, covering the core areas of inorganic, organic, physical and analytical chemistry. Core topics include Environmental Analysis, Laboratory Techniques, Data Analysis, Statistics, Programming, and Research Methods. The programme shares a common first year with medicinal and materials chemistry, allowing transfer between routes. A third-year independent research project involves approximately 80 hours of supervised laboratory work.
