About this course
MChem in Chemistry, combining fundamental chemical theory with materials science. Core topics include programming, microelectronics, data analysis, statistics, laboratory techniques, and environmental analysis. The first two years build a foundation in inorganic, organic, physical and analytical chemistry, with practical and professional skills embedded throughout. The degree includes an independent research project in the third year and a year-long research project in the final year, with options for a work placement.
