About this course
BSc (Hons) in Chemistry and Mathematics. Core topics include mathematical modelling, data analysis, statistics, programming, laboratory techniques and environmental analysis. The programme culminates in an independent research project where students select a topic across the chemical sciences, produce a scientific paper and defend their findings in an oral examination. An optional placement year provides practical experience in a professional setting.
