About this course
BEng in Civil Engineering, combining civil engineering with broader engineering disciplines. Core topics include Mathematical Modelling, Statistics, Research Methods, Project Management, Environmental Analysis, and Ethics & Professional Practice. The programme has a common first year covering all engineering disciplines, with the option to specialise in civil engineering from the second year onwards. An optional placement year provides industry experience, and the final year includes an individual research dissertation alongside a collaborative industry-led design project.
