About this course

BSc (Hons) in Earth and Environmental Sciences, combining geology with environmental geoscience. Core topics include Programming, Data Analysis, Research Methods, Fieldwork, Environmental Analysis, and Ethics & Professional Practice. The first year provides a foundation in geology before advancing to specialist modules in later years. Students undertake an independent research dissertation and may complete optional work placement years at Level 5 or Level 6.
