Entry requirements
A level: For those with a relevant science qualification our standard offer is CDD with one of these to be Maths or Physics. For those without a relevant science qualification, our standard offer is BCC. IB: 24 points in the IB Diploma or 80 UCAS tariff points, including HL Maths/Maths Methods, HL Mathematics: Analysis and Approaches or HL Physics at 4 or HL Maths Studies at 5 or SL Maths or Physics at 5.
About this course
BSc (Hons) in Physics, a four-year degree including a dedicated foundation year. Core topics include Programming, Signal Processing, Microelectronics, Data Analysis, Mathematical Modelling, and Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning. The foundation year provides entry for students without standard qualifications, with progression to physics, astrophysics, astronomy or space science pathways upon completion. Modules include Medical Physics, Quantum Computing, Spacecraft Design, and Observational Astronomy.
