About this course
BSc (Hons) in Biochemistry, combining core biological chemistry with modern data-driven approaches. Core topics include Laboratory Techniques, Data Analysis, Statistics, Research Methods, Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, and Entrepreneurship. The degree spans four years full-time and includes a final-year research project with options for lab-based, data-driven, business, or communications work. Students choose from specialist modules in areas such as virology, cancer biology, bioinformatics and genomics, and neuroscience.
