A level: BBB including grade B in an appropriate subject (eg Biology, Chemistry, Sport, Physical Education, Physics, Psychology, Statistics, Mathematics, Applied Science, Human Biology) IB: 112 tariff points - typically H5, H5, H6 at HL including Biology/Chemistry/Physics/Mathematics, Sports, Exercise and Health Science 5 at HL or 6 at SL and Mathematics 4 at HL or SL.
About this course
BSc (Hons) in Sport and Exercise Science, combining physiology, biomechanics and psychology. Core topics include Data Analysis, Statistics, Mathematical Modelling, Laboratory Techniques, Research Methods, and Critical & Analytical Thinking. Students can undertake an optional industry placement year or study abroad. Practical work takes place in facilities including a biomechanics laboratory with 3D motion capture and a respiratory clinic.
