Entry requirements
A level: ABB including A level Mathematics at B (not Use of Mathematics) IB: 32 points in the IB Diploma or 128 UCAS tariff points , including HL Maths/Maths Methods or HL Mathematics: Analysis and Approaches at 5 or SL Maths/Maths Methods at 6 (not Maths Studies/SL Maths: Applications & Interpretations).
About this course
MPhys in Physics and Physics with Astrophysics. Core topics include Programming, Data Analysis, Signal Processing, Microelectronics, Statistical Methods, and Research Methods. A Physics Group Laboratory Project develops collaborative investigation and data analysis skills. An individual MPhys Research Project provides a capstone research experience, and the Beacon Observatory offers hands-on observational work.
