A level: AAB including Maths at A but excluding Use of Maths. If taking both A level Mathematics and A level Further Mathematics: ABB including Maths at A and Further Maths at B but excluding Use of Maths. IB: 34 points in the IB Diploma or 136 UCAS tariff points, including HL Mathematics/Mathematics: Analysis and Approaches at 6.
About this course
BSc (Hons) in Mathematics, Statistics, Accounting and Finance. Core topics include Statistics, Mathematical Modelling, Financial Analysis, Accounting, Data Analysis, and Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. The programme is fully accredited by the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries, allowing students to gain up to six exemptions from professional examinations including CM1, CB1, CB2 and CM2. Industry-standard software such as R, Python and PROPHET is used throughout the course.
