A level: ABB, including A level Mathematics at B (not Use of Mathematics) IB: 32 points in the IB Diploma or 128 UCAS tariff points , including HL Maths/Maths Methods or HL Mathematics: Analysis and Approaches at 5 or SL Maths/Maths Methods at 6 (not Maths Studies/SL Maths: Applications & Interpretations)
About this course
BSc (Hons) in Physics, covering areas from classical mechanics and electromagnetism to quantum theory and condensed matter. Core topics include Programming, Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, Signal Processing, Microelectronics, Data Analysis, and Mathematical Modelling. The programme includes a group laboratory project addressing real research problems and opportunities for observational work at the Beacon Observatory.
