We accept equivalent qualifications, such as Functional/Key skills Level 2 in numeracy and literacy. Additional requirements: We encourage all candidates to gain some practical work experience in a care setting before starting the course. Admission is subject to occupational health screening and an Enhanced Disclosure Barring Service (DBS) check, including checks against the Adult and Child Workforce Barring Lists. If your initial application is successful, we’ll invite you to an online interview. This will include a series of short value-based questions, tasks or scenarios. Applicants who do not meet the English language requirements could be eligible to join our pre-sessional English language course. About this course

BSc (Hons) in Nursing (Adult). Core topics include Clinical Skills. The course includes three Practice Assessment Modules alongside placements in medical and surgical wards, intensive care, A&E, district nursing and GP practice settings. A simulation suite supports clinical learning, and an optional elective placement at the end of Year 2 can be taken internationally.
