Entry requirements
Qualifications needed for 2027/28 BEng (Hons): 112-128 UCAS tariff points Three A-levels, including Mathematics and a science subject. Or equivalent Level 3 qualifications, such as a BTEC Extended Diploma in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related subject (Aerospace/Aeronautical/Electrical/Electronic/Manufacturing) with grades Distinction, Merit, Merit (DMM) with all Maths modules passed. Alternatively, we will consider an Access Course in a relevant engineering subject, which has been passed with all Level 3 Maths and Physics units passed (112 UCAS points). Applications from those who have undertaken an Engineering foundation year will also be considered. BEng (Hons) including foundation year: 64 UCAS tariff points For the degree with a foundation year, a minimum of 64 UCAS points from A-levels or equivalent Level 3 qualifications is required. Additional requirements: Entry onto this course does not require an interview, entrance test, audition or portfolio. English language: English language requirement for this course: Academic IELTS of 6.0 overall, with no element below 5.5. If you do not meet our English language requirements , you may be eligible for Kingston University's pre-sessional English language course. About this course
BEng (Hons) in Aerospace Engineering, combining aviation science with practical engineering principles. Core topics include Control Systems, Mathematical Modelling, Programming, Statistics, Engineering Design, and Project Management. An optional industrial placement year is available, and the programme includes a final-year individual project involving computational or experimental work.
