Entry requirements
Qualifications needed for 2027 BSc (Hons): 112-128 UCAS tariff points This course requires 112-128 UCAS points. Acceptable qualifications include a minimum of two A-levels, a BTEC National Extended Diploma (Distinction, Merit, Merit) or Access to HE with 112 UCAS points in Engineering, Science, Business and Mathematics subjects. BSc (Hons): alternative routes We will also consider applicants who have completed an Engineering foundation year. If you have a BTEC Higher National Certificate in Civil Engineering or Construction or similar qualification with a minimum of five merits, it might be possible for you to enter the course in Year 2. BSc (Hons) including foundation year: 64 UCAS tariff points For the degree with a foundation year, a minimum of 64 UCAS points from A-levels or equivalent Level 3 qualifications is required. Additional requirements: This course does not require an interview, entrance test, audition or portfolio. English language: English language requirement for this course: Non-native English speakers must have an Academic IELTS of 6.0, with no element below 5.5. If you do not meet our English language requirements , you may be eligible for Kingston University's pre-sessional English language course. About this course
BSc (Hons) in Building Surveying, combining construction technology with surveying practice. Core topics include fieldwork, project management, legal analysis, ethics and professional practice, and design practice. The course is accredited by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and the Chartered Institution of Building (CIOB). A final-year individual research project allows investigation of a self-chosen topic in building surveying.
