Entry requirements

Qualifications needed for 2027 BSc (Hons): 112-128 UCAS tariff points A-levels, including Chemistry with a minimum of Grade C. Alternatively, a BTEC Extended Diploma in Applied Science (Chemistry) with merits in the following units: Or a Merit in T-Level science, including a minimum of a B in the Core component and a merit in the Occupational Specialism, either in laboratory sciences or metrology sciences. GCSE Mathematics at grade C/4 or above, or a recognised equivalent, is also required. Alternatively, we will consider a range of Level 3 qualifications, such as an Access Course in a relevant science subject. This will need to have been passed with 112 UCAS points, including 18 level 3 credits in Chemistry, with minimum of 9 L3 credits at Distinction and 9 L3 credits at Merit, and 15 level 3 credits in Biology at Merit. Applications from those who have undertaken a Science foundation year will also be considered.
