Entry requirements

Qualifications needed for 2027 The typical requirement for this course is 112-136 UCAS points, preferably with some health and science subjects studied. You could achieve this with: Applicants will also need English Language and Mathematics at GCSE grade 4/C or above or an equivalent qualification. For example, Functional/Key Skills Level 2 in Numeracy and Literacy. Alternatively, we welcome a wide range of qualifications and qualification combinations to the value of 112 UCAS points. Typical other routes include: Wherever possible, candidates are encouraged to gain practical work experience in a care setting prior to undertaking the programme. Additional requirements: All suitable applicants are required to attend an interview hosted online. This will include a series of short, value-based questions, tasks or scenarios. Admission is subject to occupational health clearance and a Disclosure Barring Service (DBS) enhanced check, including checks against the Adult and Child Workforce Barring lists. English language: English language requirement for this course: Academic IELTS of 6.0 overall, with no element below 5.5. If you do not meet our English language requirements, you may be eligible for Kingston University's pre-sessional English language course. About this course

MSci in Learning Disabilities Nursing BSc (Hons), a dual-qualification programme aligned with NMC registration. Core topics include Clinical Skills and Global & Comparative Perspective. The course allocates 50% of time to clinical placements in hospitals and community settings, supported by simulation-based learning. Students undertake a national or international elective placement at the end of Year 2 and select option modules in Year 2 such as Global Health, Wound Management, or Child and Adolescent Mental Health.
