Entry requirements
Qualifications needed for 2027: BSc (Hons): 112-128 UCAS tariff points Acceptable qualifications include a minimum of two A-levels, a BTEC National Extended Diploma (Distinction, Distinction, Merit) or Access to HE with 112 UCAS points in Engineering, Science, Business and Mathematics subjects. Applications from those that have undertaken an Engineering foundation year will also be considered. Direct entry to Year 2 requires exemption from Year 1 of the course. This is normally attained with a BTEC Higher National Certificate in Civil Engineering, Construction or a similar qualification with a minimum of five merits. BSc (Hons) including foundation year: 64 UCAS tariff points For the degree with a foundation year, a minimum of 64 UCAS points from A-levels or equivalent Level 3 qualifications is required. Additional requirements: This course does not require an interview, entrance test, audition or portfolio. English language: English language requirement for this course: Academic IELTS of 6.0 overall, with no element below 5.5. If you do not meet our English language requirements , you may be eligible for Kingston University's pre-sessional English language course.
