Entry requirements
Qualifications needed for 2027: UCAS tariff points: 112-128 Level 3 qualifications (e.g., A-levels, BTEC Diploma, Access Diploma, IB Diploma, etc.), including Dance, Performance Arts, Drama and Theatre Studies, English Language/Literature or a related subject. Additional requirements: Please submit a digital audition. Your digital audition should include two contrasting pieces of performance. For example, it could be a self-taped dramatic monologue of your choosing with a devised physical performance or a spoken word poem/rap and a piece of stand-up comedy. Each piece should be a maximum of two minutes long. What we're looking for There is no single way to approach your submission. We are interested in evidence of your creative potential, your ideas, and your willingness to explore and experiment through your practice. What we're looking for in your audition English language: English language requirement for this course: Academic IELTS of 6.0 overall, with no element below 5.5. If you do not meet our English language requirements , you may be eligible for Kingston University's pre-sessional English language course. About this course
BA (Hons) in Performance and design for theatre and screen, combining practical training with critical study. Core topics include Research Methods, Communication & Writing, Critical & Analytical Thinking, Ethics & Professional Practice, and Social & Cultural Analysis. The final-year Drama Production Project requires groups of 5–12 students to create and perform a theatre production with a supervisor and allocated budget. A Professional Practice module includes an industry-focussed placement or project.
