Entry requirements
Qualifications needed for 2027 MPharmSci (Hons): 112-128 UCAS tariff points A Levels, including Chemistry with a minimum of Grade C. Alternatively, a BTEC Extended Diploma in Applied Science (Chemistry) with merits in the following units: Or a Merit in T-Level science, including a minimum of a B in the Core component and a merit in the Occupational Specialism, either in laboratory sciences or metrology sciences. GCSE Mathematics at grade C/4 or above, or a recognised equivalent, is also required. Alternatively, we will consider a range of Level 3 qualifications, such as an Access Course in a relevant science subject (Applied Science or Chemistry). This will need to have been passed with 112 UCAS points, including 15 level 3 credits in Chemistry, with minimum of 9 L3 credits at Distinction and 6 L3 credits at Merit, and 15 level 3 credits in Biology at Merit. Applications from those who have undertaken a Science foundation year will also be considered. Additional requirements: Entry onto this course does not require an interview, entrance test, audition or portfolio. English language: English language requirement for this course: Academic IELTS of 6.0 overall, with no element below 5.5. If you do not meet our English language requirements, you may be eligible for Kingston University's pre-sessional English language course. About this course
MPharmSci (Hons) in Pharmaceutical Science, covering the discovery, development and testing of medicines. Core topics include Statistics, Laboratory Techniques, Communication & Writing, Critical & Analytical Thinking and Ethics & Professional Practice. The first two years are shared with the Pharmaceutical Science BSc (Hons) programme, and the final year includes an independent research project.
