Qualifications needed for 2027/28 BSc (Hons): 112-128 UCAS tariff points A-levels, including Chemistry with a minimum of Grade C. Alternatively, a BTEC Extended Diploma in Applied Science (Chemistry) with merits in the following units: Or a Merit in T-Level science, including a minimum of a B in the Core component and a merit in the Occupational Specialism, either in laboratory sciences or metrology sciences. GCSE Mathematics at grade C/4 or above, or a recognised equivalent, is also required. Alternatively, we will consider a range of Level 3 qualifications, such as an Access Course in a relevant science subject (Applied Science or Chemistry). This will need to have been passed with 112 UCAS points, including 15 level 3 credits in Chemistry, with minimum of 10 L3 credits at Distinction and 5 L3 credits at Merit, and 15 level 3 credits in Biology at Merit. Applications from those who have undertaken a Science foundation year will also be considered. Additional requirements: Entry onto this course does not require an interview, entrance test, audition or portfolio. English language: English language requirement for this course: Academic IELTS of 6.0 overall, with no element below 5.5. If you do not meet our English language requirements, you may be eligible for Kingston University's pre-sessional English language course. About this course
BSc (Hons) in Pharmacology and Pharmacy. Core topics include laboratory techniques, communication and writing, critical and analytical thinking, and ethics and professional practice. Practical laboratory work covers organic synthesis, product characterisation and pharmaceutical formulation evaluation. The programme includes a final-year research project and addresses the regulation of medicines across UK and international frameworks, including clinical trials.
