Entry requirements

Qualifications needed for 2027: BSc (Hons): 120-136 UCAS tariff points At least two A-levels, or a BTEC National Extended Diploma: Distinction, Distinction, Merit (DDM) or equivalent qualifications. GCSE Mathematics at grade C/4 or above, or a recognised equivalent, is also required. BSc (Hons) including foundation year: 64 UCAS tariff points For the degree with a foundation year, a minimum of 64 UCAS points is required. Additional requirements: Entry onto this course does not require an interview, entrance test, audition or portfolio. English language: English language requirement for this course: Academic IELTS of 6.0 overall, with no element below 5.5. Applicants who do not meet the English language requirements could be eligible to join our pre-sessional English language course. Applicants from a recognised majority English speaking country (MESCs) do not need to meet these requirements. About this course

BSc (Hons) in Psychology. Core topics include data analysis, statistics, research methods, critical and analytical thinking, and human behaviour. The programme includes a final-year research project and an optional work experience module. Optional modules in the final year allow specialisation in areas such as developmental psychology and forensic psychology.
