Qualifications needed for 2027 BA (Hons): 96-120 UCAS tariff points The typical requirement for this course is 96-120 UCAS points. You could achieve this with: You’ll also need GCSEs at grade C/4 or above in English and mathematics. We accept equivalent qualifications, such as Functional/Key skills Level 2 in numeracy and literacy. Additional requirements: Admission is subject to an Enhanced Disclosure Barring Service (DBS) check, including checks against the Adult and Child Workforce Barring Lists. English language: English language requirement for this course: an IELTS score of 6.0 overall with a minimum of 5.5 in all elements. If you do not meet our English language requirements, you may be eligible for Kingston University's pre-sessional English language course. About this course
BA (Hons) in Social Work, combining social pedagogy with work focused on children and young people. Core topics include Ethics & Professional Practice. Practice placements take place in settings such as youth justice, health services, schools and children's centres, and students may arrange their own placement. The degree includes a final-year capstone project and a study-abroad option at a European partner university.
