About this course

BSc Hons in Business Economics, an economics degree exploring the operational mechanisms of firms and markets within the discipline of Economics. Core topics include Programming, Control Systems, Data Analysis, Statistics, Mathematical Modelling, Project Management, Financial Analysis, Accounting, Policy Analysis, Critical & Analytical Thinking, Human Behaviour, Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, Global & Comparative Perspective. The curriculum draws on modules from both economic theory and management studies. The first year covers core topics through Foundations of Microeconomics, Foundations of Macroeconomics, Quantitative Methods for Economics, and Professional Development for Economics, while optional choices include Foundations of Accounting and Principles of Marketing.
