About this course
BSc Hons in Business Management, a Business Management degree centred on enterprise operations and strategic organisational leadership. Core topics include Data Analysis, Accounting, Marketing, Critical & Analytical Thinking, Entrepreneurship, Human Behaviour, Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, and Global & Comparative Perspective. Students can also choose to complete a year in industry or a year of study abroad between the second and final years. The first year covers the foundations through Economics for Business, Foundations in Management Theory and Practice, Foundations of Accounting and Finance, and Principles of Marketing. The second year progresses into Human Resource Management: Managing Our Working Lives, Intermediate Accounting and Finance, International Business Environment, and Operations and Process Management, alongside optional modules such as Ethics and Responsibility in a Global Context and Organising in the Digital Age. The final year integrates prior learning through compulsory modules including Business, Values and Ethics in Contemporary Economies and Capstone Strategic Project. Optional modules in the final year allow students to explore specialist areas such as Smart Data and AI Systems for Business, Strategic Management, and Global Sustainable Development.
