About this course
BSc Hons in Business Management (International Dual Degree), a business management degree centred on international business environments and dual-institution study. Core topics include Data Analysis, Statistics, Research Methods, Accounting, Marketing, Critical & Analytical Thinking, Entrepreneurship, Human Behaviour, and Global & Comparative Perspective. The programme incorporates an integrated study abroad year at ICADE Business School in Madrid, Spain, alongside a summer work placement and a final-year dissertation completed during continued study at the partner institution. The first year covers core subjects through Foundations in Management Theory and Practice, Economics for Business, Principles of Marketing, and Foundations of Accounting and Finance. The second year expands into international and operational topics via International Business Environment, Marketing Management Essentials, Human Resource Management: Managing Our Working Lives, and Business Data and Intelligence. The third year is spent studying abroad at ICADE Business School in Madrid. The fourth year begins with continued study at the partner institution combined with an International Study and Dissertation, returning to Lancaster for modules such as Power, Technology and Society, and Strategic Marketing, with optional study available in areas including Contemporary Perspectives on Work and Human Resources and Global Sustainable Development.
