A level: CCC. This should include one science from Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics or Physics. IB: 26 points overall with 14 points from the best 3 HL subjects including 4 in one HL science subject from Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics or Physics
About this course
BSc Hons in Computer Science (with a Foundation Year), a computer science degree focusing on preparation for a STEM degree. The foundation year is completed at the Lancaster University School of Mathematics, located at Cardinal Newman College in Preston, before progression onto the main campus for the subsequent degree years. Teaching sessions run four days a week with free coach transport provided from the Lancaster campus. Students study three modules linked to their chosen degree, incorporating taught sessions, group work, problem-based learning and project work.
