About this course

BEng Hons in Engineering, an engineering degree exploring fundamental principles, multidisciplinary systems and design techniques. Core topics include Programming, Embedded Systems, Control Systems, Mathematical Modelling. Students share a common first year across all engineering disciplines before moving into a chosen specialism in the second year, and complete a dissertation in the final year. The first year covers foundational concepts through compulsory modules such as Applied Engineering Mathematics, Engineering Science, Engineering Skills, Engineering Systems, Engineering Thermofluids, and Fundamental Engineering Mathematics. In the second and final years, studies continue through dedicated modules and a dissertation focused on a chosen topic.
