About this course

BA Hons in English Language, an undergraduate degree centred on English Language and Linguistics. Core topics include Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, Critical & Analytical Thinking, Programming, Research Methods, and Statistics. Students can apply for paid research internships to work alongside academic staff on active projects. The first year covers foundational concepts through compulsory modules such as English across Space and Time, English in Use, Foundations of Language, and Linguistic Inquiry and Applications, alongside optional choices like World Literatures or Explaining Criminology.
