About this course

BA Hons in Philosophy, Politics and Economics (Study Abroad), an economics, philosophy and politics degree examining the intersection of society, institutions and global systems. Core topics include Data Analysis, Statistics, Mathematical Modelling, Research Methods, Policy Analysis, Critical & Analytical Thinking, Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, and Global & Comparative Perspective. The fourth year includes an international study placement at a partner university. The first year covers core foundations through Parties, Populism and Protest, Political Philosophy: How Should we Live Together?, Political Theory for a Troubled World, Knowledge and Reality in a Complex World, Foundations of Microeconomics, and Foundations of Macroeconomics. The second year introduces specialized optional modules spanning philosophy, politics, and economics, such as Intermediate Microeconomics, Intermediate Macroeconomics, and Democracy, Dictatorship and Everything in Between. The third year is spent studying abroad at an international partner institution.
