About this course
BA in Arts and Humanities with Foundation Year, a liberal arts degree providing an extended entry route into undergraduate study within arts, humanities and cultures or geography. The initial year is taught by academics from the Lifelong Learning Centre and includes a discovery module at Level 1, with options to tailor Level 0 choices to individual subject interests. Students progress to degree courses across the Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Cultures or BA Geography in the Faculty of Environment after completing the foundation year. The curriculum supports progression through interdisciplinary study, academic skills development and access to campus resources such as special collections and galleries.
