BSc in Business Studies with Foundation Year, a business and management degree incorporating an integrated foundation year. Core topics include Statistics, Accounting, Marketing, Entrepreneurship, and Global & Comparative Perspective. The first year is delivered by the Lifelong Learning Centre, while the second year is delivered jointly with Leeds University Business School. The first year covers general business concepts through compulsory modules such as Introduction to Innovation and Enterprise, Introduction to the Organisational Environment, Introduction to Marketing, and Organisational Behaviour. Additional compulsory modules in the first year include Foundations of Finance, Introduction to Financial Accounting, Mathematics and Statistics for Managers, and Global Entrepreneurship.
