A level: AAA (specific subject requirements) IB: 15 points at higher level to include 6 points in Mathematics: Applications and Interpretation or 5 points in Mathematics: Analysis and Approaches and either Physics or Chemistry.
About this course
MEng, BEng in Chemical Engineering, a chemical engineering degree centred on industrial processes, plant design, and sustainable technologies. Core topics include Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning. The fourth year includes an industry-based project. The first year covers the foundations through Introductory Science, Engineering Mathematics and Process Engineering Fundamentals. The second year focuses on applied theory through Advanced Engineering Mathematics and Numerical Methods, Chemical Engineering Practice and Process Simulation, and Chemical Reaction Engineering. The third year moves into plant design and operation via Process Plant Design Project, Process Optimisation and Control, and Sustainability in Process Engineering. The fourth year advances technical capability with Research and Innovation Project, Chemical Products Design and Development, and Process Digitalisation and Machine Learning.
